Steel Fabrication
Steel fabrication is a process we engage in at BACO. Types of steel fabrication we perform include steel angle fabrication and steel plate fabrication. As a steel fabrication shop, we concentrate on the metal preparation, welding, and assembly aspect of parts that are used in bridges, marine construction, and building construction. Steel fabrication is a process that involves the construction of structures from various raw materials.
Raw materials we use in steel fabrication include plate metal, formed and expanded metal, tube stock, CDSM, square stock, sectional metals, welding wire, hardware, castings, and fittings. These raw materials can be cut to size with a variety of tools. Special band saws designed for cutting metal have hardened blades and a feed mechanism for even cutting. Abrasive cut-off saws, also known as chop saws, are similar to miter saws but with a steel cutting abrasive disk. Cutting torches can cut very large sections of steel with little effort.
BACO has much expertise in steel fabrication. Contact us to find out about how we can help you with this process. We also have products such as hot dipped galvanized threaded rods and bright galvanized wire rope. Browse our catalog to find out more.
